The Next Steps and Fees...
When you contact us:
- Calls and emails are answered by an experienced counsellor
- We will guide you in finding a counsellor who is right for you
- You will be offered a prompt appointment
- Your call will be returned quickly if you reach our answering service
- We are all working therapists; emails are checked throughout the day, but not constantly
- Please give a phone number if possible when you email
The first session is an opportunity for you to:
- meet the counsellor and discuss how you might work together
- explore what you need from counselling
- find out how counselling would be helpful
- ask any questions
- discuss and agree practicalities, such as dates, time, fees, cancellations, etc
Sessions are usually offered on a weekly basis for 50 or 60 minutes, although the length of the first session may vary.
Fees: Each counsellor will discuss their fees with you. Depending on location fees range between £45-£65 per session for individuals, £70-£90 for couples. Some counsellors have a sliding scale depending on your circumstances.
